Ralph Beckett is looking forward to getting Cape Amber on track in the EBF Upavon Fillies' Stakes at Salisbury. The four-year-old showed some top-class form when with Peter Chapple-Hyam, including finishing third in this Listed contest last season, but this campaign has been derailed by a minor problem.Beckett said: "She's a nice addition to the team, obviously she had some good form last year and wasn't far behind Look Here in the Oaks."He added: "This looks the right place to start her off because she has had a problem which is why she hasn't run but this looks a nice place to start and we'll get her going."She came to us in January but ran into a problem at the end of April, which is the worst possible time really. She's in good form now though, she'll obviously need it but she's in good shape. It's just down the road from us so it makes sense to start her here."Cape Amber will come up against Cypriot challenger Wymering File, who will be making history for trainer Petros Petroutsios as she becomes the first runner from that country to compete in Britain. After the race she will officially join Michael Grassick to be trained in Ireland, having been based at Grassick's Pollardstown yard for the past two weeks.Grassick said: "She was the best over there and while Cypriot racing might not be great, she was also winning in Greece and a few that have come over from Greece have done OK, like Luca Cumani's (Ialysos)."She's won over all sorts of trips over there but I would say about a mile and a quarter would be her best."I've seen her for the past couple of weeks and she's working nicely but the race will put her right I think. It will be a fair change in climate for her. The jockey doesn't seem to be too bad (Nicolas Nicolaou), he's been riding out for me and he looks useful."
