Summer Fete is poised to make another ascent in class after her Group Three win at Glorious Goodwood.Bryan Smart's filly claimed the seven-furlong Oak Tree Stakes last Friday, having previously been hamstrung by fast conditions in the Nell Gwyn and finished a fine third behind The Cheka at Newbury. The trainer said: "She's in great form and I'm very, very happy with her. She ran a nice race at Newbury, but she's best with a bit of cut in the ground."He added: "She's a seriously nice horse and it's nice to have another good one for Sheikh Rashid, who has been so loyal to me. We'll give her a break and then look for a Group Two race in three weeks' time."
