July Cup winner Fleeting Spirit will have her next start in the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes on August 21.
Jeremy Noseda's four-year-old filly landed a deserved first success at the highest level but only after a stewards' inquiry as she wandered around inside the final furlong, sustaining a few scratches and scrapes along the way.
"She has come out of Newmarket a little sore but it is nothing that we won't be able to sort out over the next 10 days," the Newmarket handler told his website,
www.jeremynoseda.com.
"This was probably caused by her wayward course inside the final furlong of that race. I am happy that we can get her in good order for the Nunthorpe which will be her next start."
Noseda also had news of his Bunbury Cup runner-up Captain Brilliance, who will now head to Ascot for the Abu Dhabi International Handicap.
"I am happy with how he has come out of the race and he will be aimed at Ascot where hopefully Johnny Murtagh will take the ride," he added.
