Ger Lyons warns Elusive Galaxy will be badly in need of the race when she reappears in the Group Two Debutante Stakes at Leopardstown. The gallops at Lyons' Dunsany Stables in County Meath have been so badly hit by the heavy rain this summer that he has been unable to give the filly the necessary work ahead of the seven-furlong contest."Unfortunately we've had very wet weather over here and my gallops are very wet so she's missed three bits of work which isn't ideal going in here," said Lyons."On a normal day I'd be very happy, she's a lovely filly, but she's put on a lot of weight. She's 20 kilos heavier than she was for her last run."She's a thriving filly and she's the heaviest filly in my yard by a country mile. She's 528 kilos and the last day she ran she was 506."Because of the work she's missed it's not an ideal prep. It's a Group Two, we've paid our money and we'll look after her. Whatever she does will be a bonus."Only six have been declared, three of them Aidan O'Brien's. I'm letting her do her best, but whatever she does she'll be stones better for the run."She's a proper filly. She was beaten the last day by Long Lashes, and she could be smart, but if we could run the race again we could have been a bit closer. Keagan (Latham) has hit the front early enough."She's a big filly you're going to see the best of next year and she could be special. She's stepping up to seven furlongs and I don't think it will be a problem. I'm sure she'll end up getting seven furlongs to mile next year."O'Brien's team consists of Devoted To You, Famous and Lillie Langtry while Kevin Prendergast's Alshahbaa and Gold Bubbles, trained by Jim Bolger, complete the sextet.
