Head strikes Falmouth gold

Goldikova bounced back to her brilliant best with an impressive display in the Etihad Airways Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket.Freddie Head's filly ran no sort of race on her comeback but was sent off the 7-4 favourite despite that and was always close to the pace under Olivier Peslier.When she hit the front the Cheveley Park pair of Heaven Sent and Spacious emerged as dangers, but Goldikova only had to be pushed out to beat the former by a cosy half a length.
