More Thunder will aim to complete his journey from handicapper to Group One winner in Sunday’s Prix de la Foret at ParisLongchamp.
The former Sir Michael Stoute inmate won off a mark of 87 at Newmarket in April before defying a 5lb rise at the Guineas meeting.
A narrow defeat in the Wokingham was followed by victory in the Bunbury Cup and he showed he was still on the improve when winning the Group Two Hungerford last time out.
“He’s all ready to go and it can’t come soon enough,” Haggas told Sky Sports Racing.
“He started off 87 so we went down the handicap route, I think he’s got to 119 now and deservedly so.
“I thought he was very impressive in the Hungerford. He enjoys a strong pace, which I hope we’ll get in France. Witness Stand is intended (to run) I think and he’s a front runner, so hopefully there’ll be a nice pace and he gets a nice draw.
“I don’t think he’s ground dependent, I think he goes on anything. It’s not going to be fast, I think he’s got good stamina and I think he’ll run a good race.
“We debated whether to go for the Park Stakes at Doncaster but decided to keep him fresh, he’s a horse who runs well fresh. He won’t get tired.
“I think seven is ideal for him at this stage. We do fancy trying a mile and left him in the race at Ascot on Champions Day but we’ll see after Sunday what happens. We’ll be trying a mile next year for sure.”
Haggas enjoyed great success in the race through One Master, a true seven-furlong specialist who won the Foret three years on the bounce between 2018-2020.
He said: “She won it three times and until the City of York this year there was only one Group One over the trip in Europe. To win it three times was a fair achievement – she was a very good filly.”
