Stacelita is set to tread the same path as brilliant filly Zarkava ahead of a likely tilt at the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp.
Jean-Claude Rouget's charge took her unbeaten record to five with a brilliant display in the Prix de Diane at Chantilly, a race Zarkava had won 12 months earlier. Like Zarkava, Stacelita is now set to take in the Prix Vermeille over the Arc course and distance on September 13 before clashing with the colts a month later.
"The plan for Stacelita is to go for the Vermeille and then hopefully the Arc. She is getting stronger with her races," said Rouget.
The trainer also had news of two other stable stars in Never On Sunday and Elusive Wave. The former was last seen finishing a close-up third in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot, while Elusive Wave could finish only fourth as Ghanaati ran away with the Coronation Stakes.
"Never On Sunday is in good form and I was happy with his run at Ascot where he ran very well," said Rouget.
"The plan for him would now be to go for the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville (August 16) and the Champion Stakes at Newmarket (October 17) after that.
"Elusive Wave is also OK and she will run in the Prix d'Astarte (Prix Rothschild, August 2) and we will see after that what to do with her."
