Fleeting Spirit will reoppose Australian speedster Scenic Blast in Friday's Darley July Cup.
The four-year-old filly finished just three-quarters of a length behind Scenic Blast in the five-furlong King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot last month and Jeremy Noseda is satisfied conditions will be quick enough for his charge.
"Fleeting Spirit will take her chance in the July Cup. The ground is expected to be fast and the plan is for Ryan Moore to be in the saddle," he told

"We gave her a short break after Ascot but she worked extremely well last week and we felt that in the circumstances, it was worth having a crack as there is still six weeks until the Nunthorpe.
"I have huge respect for Scenic Blast but feel my filly more than deserves a place in the field.
"As regards the trip, she ran well over a stiff six furlongs to be second in the Cheveley Park but, ideally, I would like the race to be run over five and a half furlongs."
