Richard Hannon believes Scintillo deserves another crack in Group One company when he lines up in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud on Sunday.A winner at the highest level in Italy as a two-year-old, the son of Fantastic Light landed a Listed race and the Winter Derby this term and last time took the Group Two Grand Prix de Chantilly."Scintillo has enjoyed a fabulous season, winning a Listed race at Kempton, switching to Lingfield to take the Winter Derby and then raising his game again to capture the Grand Prix de Chantilly," the trainer told his website."Though this is another step up the ladder, he did win his Group One in Italy as a two-year-old and deserves another shot at the big boys. "Richard Hughes gave him a great tactical ride in what was a typical slow-run race last time, and the horse simply loves the travelling."Last year's winner Youmzain also takes his chance for Mick Channon's team, who are also saddling likely pacemaker Dream Desert.Other British interest comes in the shape of Luca Cumani's Curtain Call and the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Spanish Moon.
