Rain claims Chepstow card

Chepstow were forced to abandon this afternoon's meeting after only two races due to heavy rain.Persistent rainfall during the morning and more after racing started meant conditions soon took a turn for the worse.The meeting started on time at 2.10 but the rain began to take its toll and parts of the course were left waterlogged.
