High Heeled is in great form ahead of Saturday's bet365 Lancashire Oaks at Haydock. The Barry Hills-trained filly ran a blinder in the Investec Oaks, finishing third to Sariska and Midday. She had gone to Epsom on the back of a disappointing run in the Musidora at York, but connections are happy to write that off as a bad day at the office."We've been very pleased with the filly since Epsom when she ran so well. Nothing showed up as to why she ran so poorly at York, I just think she had a bad day, she was maybe in season," said Charlie Hills, the trainer's son and assistant."There was a short period at Epsom where we thought she was coming to win the race, but she still ran a great race."On the figures for this race she comes out well ahead but obviously Henry Cecil has a good filly in there (Flame Of Gibraltar) and I know John Gosden thinks an awful lot of his (Take The Hint). A reproduction of her last run should make her the one to beat, though."Clive Cox's Miracle Seeker showed some fantastic form last season, even getting the better of subsequent Oaks heroine Look Here on one occasion. She makes her first start of the season in this Group Two contest but her trainer believes she is ready to do herself justice."We're delighted to have her back on track for what is a slightly belated reappearance but she is in very good form," said Cox. "She wouldn't want too much rain, although the track will obviously take or drop or two."She has had a couple of niggly problems but her form last year has been upheld many a time. She's a Listed winner in the Oaks Trial, Group Three placed and almost Group Two placed in a very competitive race in France."She mixed it with the best last year and I think she is a bit stronger this year and will hopefully progress. I'm more than happy she comes here in good heart and am confident she will give a good account of herself."
