Richard Hannon will have a quality new addition to supplement his already strong squad with J J The Jet Plane set to arrive at his yard.
Formerly trained by Mike de Kock, the South African sprinter performed with credit in the Golden Jubilee Stakes and the July Cup before disappointing in the Betfair Cup at Goodwood. He will now join Hannon, who expects him to take up an engagement in the Haydock Sprint Cup on September 5.
"We expect J J The Jet Plane here next week, and we are all looking forward to him coming," Hannon told his website,
www.richardhannonracing.tv.
"He was a dual Group One winner in South Africa, and he showed that he was a top flight horse in Britain too when finishing third in the July Cup at Newmarket.
"He is entered in the Haydock Sprint Cup, and that looks an ideal race for him."
