John Oxx will be looking for soft ground before committing Alaivan to his next outing following a convincing victory at Roscommon last night.
The Kalanisi gelding, owned by the Aga Khan, opened his Listed account with an emphatic three-and-a-half length verdict from Von Jawlensky over a mile and a half on going described as heavy.
Oxx said: "It depends on the ground really. He likes those conditions, he goes on soft and on heavy. He's a smart gelding when he gets his conditions. We've no plans for him at the moment. We will play that by ear depending on the weather."
Oxx ruled out a crack at the Irish Field St Leger at the Curragh in September.
"He's not entered," the trainer added.
