Eddie Creighton is looking to further improve what are already fond memories of the Newmarket July Festival by breaking his Group One duck in the Etihad Airways Falmouth Stakes.
The young Irishman gained a first Pattern-race victory aboard Please Sing in the Cherry Hinton Stakes last year and can be optimistic for teh Mick Channon-trained Eva's Request this time around.
The jockey said: "I've had a few Group One rides but this is probably my first that has had a real chance. I'm very grateful they have allowed me to keep the ride. In fairness most of the times I have ridden her she has done well but it's nice to have the chance."
He added: "At Ascot they went no pace. It didn't really suit my filly and I think if they go a bit quicker this time she can be much closer.
"I've ridden a few good fillies like Sweet Lilly and Please Sing, but this one is the most consistent. She always runs a good race. I haven't really sat on her since Ascot but she has just been ticking over."
There could be another good chance for the pilot on Friday when he reunites with Audacity Of Hope in the Group Two Meydan Superlative Stakes.
Creighton partnered Charlie McBride's youngster to victory at Ripon last month.
"I think he's a very nice two-year-old," he continued.
"He had been working very well before his first run at Newmarket when he was third to quite a good horse (The Hermitage).
"He then won very well the next time. I rode for the stable as an apprentice and it's great to be riding him again, as they could have got anyone really for this. I'd say he'd have quite a good chance."
