Mike De Kock is expecting an improved performance from Diana's Choice in tomorrow's Cuisine De France Summer Stakes at York.
The five-year-old mare proved a real money-spinner out in Dubai, winning twice, and has also hit the target in Pattern company in her native South Africa.
Having finished fourth in a Listed race on her British debut at Salisbury, De Kock anticipates a much sharper performance and said: "She's improved a hell of a lot."
He went on: "I know Karl Burke's filly Lesson In Humility, who finished third at Ascot, is going to be hard to beat, but she has improved and I wouldn't keep her out of anything.
"She's one of the highest-rated horses in the race on the figures. Last time she ran way above herself (she was very keen) and I'm expecting a big run from her."
