Coronation Stakes runner-up Reggane will bid to secure the first Group One success of her career in the Prix Rothschild on Sunday week.
Alain Royer-Dupre's filly ran a mighty race to finish just two lengths behind 1000 Guineas winner Ghanaati at Royal Ascot, where she had smart fillies like Rainbow View and Elusive Wave behind. The French handler has been delighted with her progress and a trip to Deauville on August 2 is now very much on the agenda.
Royer-Dupre said: "All being well she is going to Deauville. We we very happy with her run at Ascot and the filly that beat her that day has great class for sure."
He added: "I have been very happy with her since the Coronation Stakes and she is still improving."
