Arcano proves a July sizzler

Arcano maintained his unbeaten record with an impressive display in the TNT July Stakes at Newmarket.Brian Meehan's Oasis Dream colt was sent off the 7-4 favourite having won a strong maiden at Newbury on his debut, and was always travelling well in the hands of Martin Dwyer.Long-time leader Orpen Grey proved a tough nut to crack at the head of affairs, but Arcano scythed through the pack and wore him down to take the Group Two prize by three-quarters of a length.
