This is the newest track in the UK, having been purpose-built from scratch, it’s designed to be a fair and genuine test for all. It’s essentially a galloping track that’s about a mile and a half around. The fences are well positioned and are well made. The biggest thing here is that it lies in one of the wettest parts of the country, so conditions get very extreme in the winter and heavy ground specialists tend to excel here. The hurdles track can often be at risk of low sun up the home straight and tend to get omitted at certain times of the year. But when conditions are good, it’s an awesome track to ride around.
