Youmzain may be assisted by headgear as he continues his search to land an elusive Group One win in Britain in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot on July 25.
While he has notched up victories in Germany and France, a top-level victory in his home country has passed him by - only narrowly on many occasions, including when missing out by a nose in the Coronation Cup at Epsom.
He apparently reacted well to the application of a visor in a workout in which Sam Hitchcott took the mount.
"He's in great fettle and the visor appeared to have a positive effect," said Channon.
