Evan Williams aims to have a winner on the opening Flat meeting at Ffos Las tomorrow after saddling the first ever winner there.
Plunkett obliged for the Llancarfan trainer when the Carmarthenshire track became the first new turf track in Britain for 80 years last month.
Williams said: "It's a good, flat track, very fair and the ground rides fast. It's about an hour and 10 minutes west of us, so it's very handy. I'm sure everyone who goes will think it's a good place."
Williams sends Dantari and Enlightenment on the 60-mile journey from his Vale of Glamorgan base for the last two races on the card, the Natural UK Handicap and the EPS Handicap respectively.
The handler added: "We don't run many on the Flat but the occasional ones we do are jumpers who we think a bit of a change might help them. Dantari ran creditably when third at Warwick last time and the step up to two miles should suit and he did run quite well at Ffos Las over hurdles.
"Enlightenment is a good horse over hurdles and fences. He's had a few niggly injury problems which have stopped him a little bit. He ran well at Aintree in defeat and we ran him on the all-weather at Lingfield as a day out and he won that quite nicely, although it was a bad race.
"We had the biggest jockey (George Baker) in the land on him that day and we've the smallest (David Probert) on him this time. He is a horse that has plenty of ability. It will be interesting to see how he handles this."
Several leading trainers are showing their support of the new track by having runners and they include Barry Hills, who sends a team of four from his Lambourn base.
Hills' son and assistant, Charlie said: "I'd have thought the ground will be lovely. I've not been there myself but Dad's been there and thought it looked a very good race track. We have Onemix in the fillies' handicap. She will have a chance and we have quite a nice two-year-old (Our Dream Queen) in the first."
