Tommy Stack appears to have a very smart juvenile on his hands in the shape of the impressive and still unbeaten Walk On Bye.
A narrow winner on her debut at the course on Irish Derby weekend, she cruised into contention widest of all in the Group Three Jebel Ali Stables & Racecourse Anglesey Stakes at the Curragh.
The 7-4 favourite settled proceedings in a matter of strides under Wayne Lordan to come in a length and three-quarters clear of the reliable King Ledley.
Stack's son and assistant Fozzy said: "She's very good. She would have been a very unlucky loser here the last day as she didn't get a clear run.
"Her main target is the (Goffs) Million Sprinters race and she'll have one more run in between. The Phoenix Stakes may come too soon but she's in the Lowther and there is the Prix Morny too."
