Ed Vaughan is to temporarily close his Grange House Stables in Newmarket from Sunday as he feels his horses are not quite 100%.Even though five of Vaughan's last nine runners have finished in the first four, he plans to close down operations in a bid to restore full health.Vaughan said: "We will not be having any runners for the next few weeks. We will give the horses an easy week and freshen them up and they'll us when they are ready to resume full training." He added: "While many of those that we have been sending to the track recently have been running with credit, I just feel they are not quite right."We have run a series of extensive tests and although they have revealed nothing concrete, I think there is a little issue lurking there."I have informed my owners and staff of the situation and they have been very understanding and supportive in the circumstances."Fingers crossed, it won't be long before the horses are 100%again and then we can get back to finding the winner's enclosure with them."
