Marcus Tregoning is hopeful Finjaan can continue his yard's revival with a good performance in the Betfair Cup at Glorious Goodwood tomorrow.
The trainer has endured a rough season, with a low-grade infection forcing him to shut up shop for six weeks earlier in the campaign, but he has had a winner at Ascot recently and is thrilled with Finjaan's condition heading into the race.
Tregoning said: "I was absolutely delighted with Sunday's winner, hopefully things are improving now. Finjaan is in very good form. It's a good race but he's a fresh horse, although he will obviously have to pull out something special to beat the first two in the betting (Main Aim and J J The Jet Plane)."
He added: "Maybe he didn't stay the mile in the Guineas, but we shut down not long after the race and perhaps he just wasn't 100% on his first run. He won the Molecomb over five furlongs at the track last year and we're happy with him."
William Buick partners Dream Eater, who has not got his head in front since landing a valuable sales race at Doncaster in 2007.
"He's a horse who has bags of talent, as shown by his form last year. He was fifth in the 2000 Guineas and third at Royal Ascot in 2008, but he hasn't shown that level of form this year," Buick told

"He's got a lot of speed so this seven furlongs should suit more than a mile - six furlongs might even be his trip - and we might ride him a bit more off the pace this time, as he was ridden very handily last time and pulled hard."
