David Barron is at the mercy of the handicapper as to future targets for Saturday's John Smith's Cup winner Sirvino.
The progressive gelding made it five victories on the bounce this year in the valuable event at York, and provided a memorable afternoon for his apprentice jockey Neil Brown.
"There's nothing at all planned for him at the moment, we'll just play about with him for a couple of weeks at home first," reported Thirsk-based Barron.
"He's absolutely fine after the race.
"Obviously there are one or two more valuable mile-and-a-quarter handicaps later in the season but an awful lot depends on the reaction of the handicapper, which we will find out later in the week."
