Royal
Fixation is Cheveley Park Stakes-bound after her impressive success in the Lowther at York last month.
The Palace Pier filly, who is owned by Opulence Thoroughbreds, won on debut at Thirsk in June and was then second to Venetian Sun in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes when stepping up to Group Two level on the July course at Newmarket.
Venetian Sun, winner of the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot, continued to uphold the form when subsequently landing the Prix Morny at Deauville, and Royal
Fixation continued to prove herself too when striking on the Knavesmire.
The Group One Cheveley Park, run over six furlong at Newmarket in late September, is next on the agenda for the latter filly and trainer Ed Walker is delighted with her progress.
“She’s come out of York absolutely fine, we were delighted with her,” said Walker.
“She’s in great nick at home, we were aiming for the Cheveley Park and now that’s the race we’re training her for.
“All being well that’s where we’ll go next.”
