No serious Rush damage

Mad Rush is reported to be sore after trailing home last of the five runners in the At The Races Curragh Cup on Saturday.Luca Cumani's charge was sent off a hot favourite for the Group Three contest but he dropped away tamely in the straight, after which he was found to be lame.Fiona Shaw, racing manager to the gelding's owner, Earle Mack, is hopeful the injury is not too serious, although he will be checked over again after arriving home."He's definitely quite sore, but he was comfortable enough to travel home so he's all right," said Shaw."He's going to be checked over at Luca's barn later on, but he's been X-rayed and everything was fine. They'll have a good look at him and the vets will come and see him."The vets in Ireland thought he was comfortable enough to travel and they wouldn't have done that if there was something seriously wrong."
