Murtagh double bid foiled by Mark

Johnny Murtagh looked booked for a rapid double in the Listed Kilboy Estate Stakes at the Curragh before he was mown down by Danny Grant aboard She's Our Mark (9-4). Murtagh, already a winner on Black Quartz in the opener, was soon a long way clear on Latin Love and it was only at around the furlong marker when his advantage unravelled. First Timabiyra failed with a challenge before She's Our Mark powered down the outside to win by two lengths. Grant said: "I think that's the fifth time she has won now. She just takes her time to get going and really loves to have something to chase. Even though we were quite far behind Johnny I was always confident."
