Richard Hannon is assembling his usual strong team in an attempt to land a seventh victory in Saturday's Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury.
The master two-year-old trainer has been mob-handed in the event since its inception in 1991, although surprisingly it is 2005 since he last won it with Lady Livius.
Leading the Hannon squad is Monsieur Chevalier, whose unbeaten run of four came to an end when he was fifth in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot. Joining him are Desert Auction, Chocolate Cookie, Palisades Park and Reach For The Sky.
Tom Dascombe is optimistic about Above Limits, a Sandown maiden winner who was sixth to Habaayib in the Albany Stakes.
"She only has 8st and Richard Kingscote is keen to do it, even though it is much lighter than he does normally," explained the trainer.
"She'll go there and should have a very good chance. Monsieur Chevalier would be a danger but the weights are related to sales prices and he gives us 12lb."
Karl Burke's Norfolk Stakes runner-up and subsequent July Stakes fourth Reignier could be involved, while another trainer with a good record in the Super Sprint, William Haggas, can choose from Poppy N'Penny and the unbeaten Shamandar.
