Smart mare Les Fazzani is enjoying a summer holiday before being prepared for a busy autumn campaign.
The five-year-old, trained by Kevin Ryan, is being saved for the last few months of the season when it is hoped she will get her favoured soft ground. Ryan will consider races all over Europe for Les Fazzani, who won at the first of time of asking for him in a Listed race at Doncaster in November.
"She's having a nice break. She's going to have a busy campaign in the autumn, so we've decided to give her a holiday," said the Malton-based handler.
"She's a mare that loves soft ground. Her form was very good in the second half of the season last year. She really does thrive in the autumn. That's the plan with her.
"She's got loads of options between Ireland, France and at home. There's also a race at the backend in Italy for her, but a lot will depend on the ground."
