Martin Dwyer has been hit with a 16-day suspension by the British Horseracing Authority under the 'totting up' procedure.The jockey was found guilty of careless riding after guiding Butch And Sundance to success at Yarmouth earlier this month and the matter was referred to the BHA as Dwyer had already been suspended for 24 days for careless riding within the previous 12 months.The disciplinary panel has now suspended him for a total of 16 days, consisting of three days for careless riding at Yarmouth and 13 days under the 'totting up' procedure.Three days of this penalty will be deferred for two months until October 7, meaning the suspension will run from August 7 to August 19 inclusive, which rules him out of the first two days of the Ebor meeting at York.
