Frankie Dettori was out of luck in the feature Rose Of Lancaster Stakes at Haydock, but gained some compensation as Libel Law repelled all-comers to win the totescoop6 Stakes.Dettori sent the Michael Jarvis inmate to the front halfway up the home straight, and soon had his rivals in trouble.A number of horses came out of the pack to challenge, including 5-2 favourite Dancourt, but Jarvis' 6-1 shot dug deep inside the final furlong and was two and a quarter lengths ahead of the fast-finishing Nanton.Dettori said: "He didn't really want to go to the start and he started to sweat badly. In the race he pulled really hard for four furlongs but, when he got to the front, he put his head down and won."
