Luca Cumani is confident Curtain Call will give a good account of himself in the Sky Bet York Stakes on Saturday.
The four-year-old failed to cut much ice in the Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp, but bounced back with a fine fourth in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud last time.
Cumani said: "The plan is for him to go to York and we were very happy with his run in France last time where he ran a very good race. Things didn't go right for him the time before at Longchamp and it was good to see him run much better at Saint-Cloud."
He added: "He likes the ground to be good or good to soft, so hopefully he will get that at York and he will run a good race."
