Cima De Triomphe attempts to confirm his superiority over Conduit in the Coral-Eclipse Stakes at Sandown.
Luca Cumani's Italian import had Saturday's rival a nose behind when winning the Brigadier Gerard Stakes but was in receipt of 7lb. Add Derby winner Sea The Stars into the mix and his trainer admits his charge has plenty on his plate.
"Obviously it's a big step up from a Group Three to a Group One and we are coming up against a Derby winner and a Breeders' Cup and St Leger winner," said Cumani.
"The horse is in good form and has pleased me in his work so we are hopeful of a good run. I would like to hope he has improved since Sandown but he will have needed to. As long as the ground is good or faster that should be fine for him and it's going to be a fantastic race."
