Cosmopolitan was flying high in Group One company at Newmarket last week, and found the easier task of Newbury's Bathwick Tyres EBF Fillies' Stakes much more suitable. John Gosden's four-year-old finished eased down in the Falmouth Stakes at the July meeting, but made virtually all dropped back to handicap company. The 5-1 chance was weak in the betting but pinged the gate and found plenty on the run to the line to hold Ocean Transit and 100-30 favourite Full Of Love by a neck and the same.
