Come What May might be one to uphold family honour

Aidan O’Brien unleashed an unraced three-year-old of note at the Curragh on Saturday when Come What May took the 10-furlong Gra Chocolates Maiden.
The son of Nathanial is a full-brother to Desert Crown, winner of the Derby for Sir Michael Stoute in 2022.
A 5-1 chance ridden by Wayne Lordan, Come What May was a three and a half length winner from 15-8 favourite Almazann.
Stable representative Chris Armstrong said: “He’s just such a big horse that has taken a long time to get here.
“In fairness, for a horse coming here first time out, he did it nicely.
“Wayne felt when the Aga Khan horse came to him it helped him in the finish.
“At this time of the season it would probably have to be something like the Trigo Stakes (in Leopardstown) or the Finale Stakes back here.
“To do that first time out is very promising.”
