Victoria Cup winner Dandy Boy is to return to Ascot for another big handicap, the Hunt Cup, at the Royal meeting.Trainer David Marnane has been pleased with the four-year-old since his victory in the seven-furlong handicap earlier this month and believes the son of Danetime will stay the straight mile at the Berkshire track."He goes for the Royal Hunt Cup. He came out of his last race well, we are very happy with him and we are delighted to have a chance at Royal Ascot," said the County Tipperary trainer."Hopefully he'll get the trip especially with a bit more cover, but you do need a lot of luck in those races. He's a good horse and hopefully he will give a good account of himself."Marnane has also pencilled-in Bangalore Gold for Royal Ascot in either the Hunt Cup or the Buckingham Palace Stakes (Handicap). But first the four-year-old gelding, formerly trained by David Myerscough, must show his wellbeing in a Premier Handicap at the Curragh on Saturday."I have also entered Bangalore Gold for the Hunt Cup as well. He's going to run on Saturday in the Premier Handicap at the Curragh and we will see how he gets on there," Marnane went on."Depending on if he runs well he will go to Ascot for either the Hunt Cup or the seven-furlong handicap (Buckingham Palace Stakes) on the Friday. He's had one run for us. He was third at Leopardstown and we were very happy with the run and he has progressed another bit."
