Ayr will stage an all-sprint card on Monday following a seven-horse pile-up at the track yesterday.
Joe Fanning is likely to miss Glorious Goodwood as a result of a broken collar-bone after his mount, All In The Red, was one of the casualties in the Up To £125 Free Bet At victorchandler.com Handicap.
Officials from the British Horseracing Authority visited the track and Iain Ferguson, head of public relations for the track, said: "Chris Dennis, the BHA course inspector, walked the course with racecourse officials and made the joint decision to run an all-sprint card on Monday."
Ferguson added: "That leaves us three weeks until our next meeting which is August 8 which gives us time to have the bend surveyed to see if it needs to be realigned.
"Another horse slipped after crossing the line in the second race too.
"We've had people walk the course and there doesn't seem to be any obvious thing wrong, but what we would say was that we had two really heavy showers on top of good to firm ground."
