Day two of Newbury's Dubai Summer Festival kicked off with another Richard Hannon winner courtesy of Sir Parky's gritty success in the Racing UK Conditions Stakes.
Hannon dominated the proceedings on Friday with a tidy treble, and saddled two runners in a bid to continue his prolific run of form. And it was Richard Hughes' mount who coped best of all with the testing ground and strong headwind to claim his third victory of the season by a neck.
Hannon said of the 11-4 chance: "Ours are all running well at the moment, but he is looking tired now. He only ran at Newmarket last week so has had two quick runs.He has lost a bit of weight so he'll have a couple of months off and we'll build him up again."
