2.30 Naas: Madly Truly

She made an eye-catching debut and can build on that here.

Madly Truly may well have won at Leopardstown but for finding trouble in running and being forced to switch wide around horses. Her finishing effort under a considerate ride was encouraging and that experience will not be lost on her now.

Madly Truly is clearly quite well thought of as she holds two Group One entries and this is a good chance for her to get off the mark.

3.00 Naas: Basil Martini

If Madly Truly wins then Joseph O Brien has a good chance of securing a double with Basil Martini.

She has been second on both of her starts so far when running to a decent level. She was well-backed on debut at Fairyhouse and then made most of the running before being caught late on at the Curragh.

Basil Martini drops back in trip to sixfurlongs, but that should be no problem as she seems to possess plenty of speed.

6.12 Sandown: Ikhtiraaq#

He is on a steep upward curve for Sir Michael Stoute and can win again.

Ikhtiraaq dictated the pace to win a small-field contest at Pontefract on his latest start and that came on the back of a narrow success at Yarmouth. He carries a 6lb penalty for his recent win, but that should not be enough to stop him going close here.

He has only had six career starts - half of which he has won - and is open to yet more improvement having recently been gelded.

6.42 Sandown: Evaluation

Heis in line for a Sunday Series bonus should he win this and, despite defeat at Newcastle last time, remains in top form.

Prior to that latest reverse he had won four races on the bounce in the style of a very progressive gelding. He may well have won at Newcastle if he had not been poorly positioned in a race run at a modest tempo and that effort suggests that he has not stopped improving,

Helooks good value at around 7-1 to land a valuable bonus.
