Abdullah team plan Goodwood raid

Prince Khalid Abdullah is set for a busy week at Glorious Goodwood with Prohibit leading the charge for the owner in the major handicaps.The Bluesquare.com Stewards' Cup on the final day of the meeting is the plan for the John Gosden-trained four-year-old, who stayed on to take fifth behind current market leader High Standing in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot.The Prince's racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe said: "We are definitely looking at the Stewards' Cup for Prohibit. I thought he ran a really good race in the Wokingham. He's quite highly rated and the plan at the moment is to run him at Goodwood."He added: "I don't think that our other entry, Bouvardia, will take her chance. You will have to go back a long way to find a three-year-old filly who has won the Stewards' Cup."Reflecting on other possible handicap runners, Grimthorpe continued: "We are thinking about letting Cloudy Start take his chance in the totesport.com Mile, although his weight could be a bit of a worry."He ran a solid enough race at Newmarket but he might have had a harder race than we thought on his previous start at Kempton, which looked like a hot contest. "I wouldn't be worried about him returning to handicap company in such a big race but carrying 9st might be a big ask for him."Mirrored is a questionable runner. We were considering him for the race after he ran at Sandown, but it looks doubtful at the moment."
