Horse racing tips: Dave Nevison's best bets for Tuesday

Our pundit and website tipster Dave Nevison begins his tipping week with theee fancies from Catterick and Leicester, both live on Racing TV. Enjoy further action from Goodwood and Galway and dedicated coverage from all four venues via Racing TV Extra.
3.10 Catterick: Miracle Eagle

She posted two very good efforts over this course last month and, while she’s yet to win, it looks as though it will be at this track when she does.
Miracle Eagle was beaten by a younger rival who enjoyed stepping up in trip last time, while a three-year-old beat her the time before. She has younger horses in opposition again here, but they haven’t shown much and the older horses in this line-up look to hold no secrets.
Trainer Jedd O’Keeffe has re-applied the visor for Miracle Eagle’s last two runs and it looks to have brought about improvement, so hopefully a win is due.
4.10 Catterick: Militia

Finished: 7thSP: 5/2
He made all over course and distance to win in the 0-85 bracket three starts ago. Now down in grade and well-drawn, he clearly has a good opportunity to win again.
Militia has blown his chances on his last two starts and it is an obvious concern that he will go too fast, but Graham Lee knows him well and this lower grade might enable him to settle in a more restrained rhythm and conserve his energies better.
He has a very good draw to make all from stall 2 and, provided he doesn’t go off too quickly, I think he will win.
4.20 Leicester: Elegant Love

Finished: 3rdSP: 7/2
She improved for her debut run this season and has been dropped 2lb for that effort, making her just about eligible for this 0-60 contest.
Elegant Love is down to the lowest handicap grade she has ever contested despite the fact she won twice in higher grades last year, so she will definitely appreciate the easier opposition. The main positive here is the likelihood of a very fast pace which will suit perfectly - she likes to come late and finish well.
Mollie Phillips has been a quiet find this season and claims a valuable 3lb here.
